KZUM has been a fixture in Lincoln since 1978 when it was formed to bring about more diverse programming in the capitol city through a community based program, one based from support through memberships, donations, grants from charitable foundations and underwriting.

We have over 90 volunteer programmers keeping our shows broadcasting 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
