Nolan Tredway is a native Nebraskan artist living and working in Lincoln. Nolan graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor\\\'s of Fine Arts with a Studio Emphasis, with additional courses from the Fundacion Ortega y Gasset in Toledo, Spain. He is currently the co-director of Tugboat Gallery and runs his own studio/gallery in Lincoln. His work has earned the Ida M. Vreeland Award and a Nebraska Arts Council Individual Fellowship Award. While primarily a painter and filmmaker, he works in a variety of media from T-shirt to toy design. He is the creator of the marionette short film series, Milk, which has been shown nationally, and his paintings have been exhibited throughout the Midwest.
