Taura Horn was born in Nebraska and raised on "Eraserhead", Diane Arbus and the Beatles. In 2005 Horn received her BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. Her photographs have been shown in the Diego Rivera Gallery, the Walter McBean Gallery, and Hamburger Eyes Photo Magazine #9, and she has worked with La Esperanza Granada in Nicaragua, the Cambodia Landmine Museum, and taught workshops on journal making and stenciling to San Franscisco youth. When she is not traveling and photographing, Horn is busy working weddings and assisting Bay Area photographers.
