Welcome to Whimsy!

We are a small, family owned business located in Lincoln, Nebraska. Our goal is to provide unique and/or locally made gifts and collectibles.

Whimsy was started in May by Gary and Kelley Hartshorn. Previously, it was called Bumble's Bears and specialized in teddy bears. But then we started adding in candles, and pretty soon, we had more non-bear items than teddy bears! After giving it some thought, we decided to remodel our store and give it a new name to highlight the fact that we were no longer a teddy bear store. Sure, we still sell bears, especially the collectible kind, but now we focus on unique and fun gifts.
